[K-Drama] [Photo] Kim Soo Hyun Starts His First Day of Work for ′Producer′ in New Stills

Kim Soo Hyun made his first appearance at work as the rookie PD, Baek Seung Chan for KBS′ Producer.

With its first episode airing on May 8, KBS′ Producer released photos of Kim Soo Hyun, perfectly transformed into the new rookie PD, Baek Seung Chan.

Baek Seung Chan is a rookie PD, who studied law at a prestigious university but ends up somehow getting hired into the KBS variety department after being led by his senior, his first love.

The revealed stills showed Baek Seung Chan′s first day of work at KBS. Wearing an oversized navy suit while carrying a shoulder bag, Kim Soo Hyun screamed new employee. His downcast expression has also caught attention, making people wonder what happened to Baek Seung Chan on his first day of work.

The first filming for Kim Soo Hyun′s appearance in the drama was filmed on April 5. The staff expressed their amazement at how perfectly Kim Soo Hyun transformed into Baek Seung Chan with his detailed hand gestures and saddened glances.

"Kim Soo Hyun came with a complete analysis of the character of Baek Seung Chan and the on location staff were very surprised. From his speech to his gestures and even his personality, Kim Soo Hyun was Baek Seung Chan and it had staff getting surprised every time," said the staff of Producer. "Please look forward to and love the rooke PD, Baek Seung Chan, that Kim Soo Hyun will continue to create."

Producer is about what happens in the variety department of a broadcast station. The drama was co-created by writer Park Ji Eun and Seo Soo Min PD.

With a briliant staff of Cha Tae Hyun, Kong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun, and IU, as well as staff from both the drama and variety world, Producer will begin on May 8.
